EFC M.A.D Digital Challenge
At Epping Forest College we are committed to driving digital literacy, learning and teaching forward and developing a highly skilled, innovative, entrepreneurial and motivated staff and student cohort and believe in building lifelong skills such as problem solving, creativity, communication and teamwork.
The EFC MAD Digital Challenge opens for all students and staff at EFC to submit ideas for using technology that will improve your learning experience.
So far we have 19 fantastic ideas submitted for the competition.
The best 5 ideas out of the 19 will be shortlisted to win £200 prize money and the final winning team(s) will be offered funding of up to £2000 to develop their ideas including accessing a package of tools, business support and advice from experts.
On the College’s MAD Digital Challenge website https://elevator.jisc.ac.uk/e/mad-digital-efc, fellow students, staff and EFC stakeholders will be able to vote for their preferred ideas.
Once voting closes on 16th January, we will evaluate every idea that reaches the voting threshold of 25 and invite the top 5 teams to our “Dragons Den” event, where we will select the idea that will receive funding. The Dragon ‘Den Event will take place on 25 January from 3.30pm. The winning idea will then have 6 months to be developed.
