What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships combine practical on the job training with college study, allowing you to start your career path, earn a wage & get a qualification. You’ll work alongside experienced staff in a paid job, gaining specific work-based skills as you go. At the same time, you’ll study towards a related qualification at college (usually one day a week). All apprentices should work for at least 30 hours a week, apart from certain exceptions who may work less hours. Over 150,000 employers are offering Apprenticeships in more than 200,000 locations.
