In 2013, 211 social worker jobs were advertised by Essex County Council.
It is predicted that by 2020 the Social Care workforce will increase by more than 10,000.

Previous students have gone on to careers in youth work, different specialisms of nursing, midwifery and other allied professions such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy and educational psychology, youth work social and social work.
We have a hospital room which supports the vocational element of the courses. This enables you to gain quality tuition and learn practical skills that you can take to your work placements and on to future careers.

Jadelyn has utilised her time at EFC and is getting the best out of her course. She achieved D*D* in her first year of the programme, and is currently working hard to achieve D*D*D* overall.
Jadelyn won a competition for a King’s College taster day and is currently doing her placement at the highly prestigious Harley Street Hospital. She hopes to continue her studies at King’s College University and work within the care industry
