Childcare and early years

Childcare and early years

Are you looking for a rewarding career where your work makes a real difference to the lives of others?

With Childcare education you can experience the wonderful sense of satisfaction that comes with inspiring a child to learn and to be a part of helping to shape the lives of young people.
Childcare training is designed to equip you with the practical skills required to work in a variety of childcare settings including nurseries, primary schools, crèches or as a childminder.
Our courses are centred around practical work placements in the local community, allowing you to put your classroom skills into action. You will also benefit from guest speakers from the industry, who will share experience and best practice.
All of our Childcare qualifications are awarded by CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health & Education), the leading specialist Awarding Organisation for the Care and Education sector. As part of your programme you have the opportunity to visit CACHE Roadshows and exhibitions throughout the year.

A nursery room is provided, simulating childcare learning facilities. This is an interactive resource providing students with practical experience and an opportunity to develop your skills.
